CCS footprints

With the new space, Envision will be able to store over 14,000 tablet devices, 8,000 laptops, 2000 PCs, and over 10,000 network devices. It also expands the company’s ability to image large quantities of devices at one time and the capacity at which they can ship those configured devices to client sites across the entire country.

“When we started our CCS division last year, it was in direct response to a real need we saw in the market,” says Todd Knapp, Envision’s Founder and CEO. “By pairing our warehousing and configuration services with our company’s background in engineering and our Ground Control managed services solution, we’ve been able to offer clients a powerful, full-service approach for their purchasing needs.”

Designed for organizations purchasing large quantities of endpoints, including laptops or Chromebooks, PCs, servers, switches, and more, Envision’s CCS team handles the heavy lifting for large-scale hardware deployments. Services offered under CCS include image design and consulting, bulk system imaging, asset tagging, laser etching, depot services, and more.

Brent Ouellette, Envision’s VP of Vendor Operations and supervisor of the company’s CCS division, explains that a big part of the solution’s rapid growth and success has been repeat business.

“Our rapid success in this solution area has been fueled by organizations that have used the service and discovered how much of their own time it can save their IT staff. Those clients have come back to us again and again, quickly making CCS one of Envision’s most valuable solution areas.”
