I have been at Envision since:
September 2016 (at Embolden since 2014)
Hobbies, activities, or interests:
I only moved to Rhode Island a few years ago, so I really enjoy spending my free time exploring New England. I like to visit local wineries and historical sites (even the tourist traps), and I’ve enjoyed using AirBnB when looking for a place to stay to help enhance the local experience.
Interesting story or fact about me:
I am a notoriously picky eater. So much so, in fact, that it wasn’t until recently after my 31st birthday that I ate my first apple! I guess I will blame it on growing up in Ohio where the two main food groups are meat and potatoes. Since moving away, I am always on a quest to try to new foods, so I am always looking for restaurant recommendations around the area.
Professional summary:
Prior to entering the technology field, I worked in hospitality management for 10 years, most recently at the Mansion on Forsyth Park in Savannah, GA. I studied Spanish at Armstrong State University in Savannah, obtaining a certificate in Latin American Studies.
