Last week at Microsoft Build 2025, our very own Web Developer Andrii Balashov showcased his creativity and technical expertise by participating in the Best Agent Instructions Contest — a competition designed to celebrate the first anniversary of Microsoft’s Copilot prompt repository and shine a spotlight on the rising impact of AI agents in modern development.

The contest challenged developers to design effective, well-structured prompts that clearly defined an AI agent’s purpose, tone, behavior, and boundaries, skills that are becoming increasingly essential as AI becomes more embedded in the development process.

Andrii rose to the occasion with his imaginative submission: “Elevator-Pitch Alchemist: Turn any half-baked thought into a 90-second pitch that makes heads snap.” This clever and practical agent helps users transform rough ideas into polished elevator pitches which is perfect for fast-moving businesses or innovation settings.

What made Andrii’s achievement even more impressive? He built and submitted the entire prompt in just 15 minutes—a testament to his quick thinking and deep understanding of AI agent design.

Out of thousands of participants at Build, Andrii’s entry stood out, earning him an Honorable Mention and placing him among the top six submissions. We’re incredibly proud to see his work recognized on a global stage and can’t wait to see what he builds next!
