Jason Albuquerque, COO

With more than 25 years of experience in the technology and cybersecurity field, Jason has served in numerous senior executive roles in his career, culminating in his current COO position with Envision.

Jason takes pride in leading the charge and in building a culture that is innovative and secure by design. He brings the highest levels of leadership, industry knowledge, and agility that modern industries require to effectively respond to the rapidly changing technology, threat, risk, and business landscapes.

Jason has received prestigious recognitions and awards in technology and leadership, including being named a “2021 Top Cybersecurity Leader" by Security Magazine partnered with (ISC), Rhode Island’s 40 under Forty Award, Rhode Island’s Tech 10 Award and Tech 10 Lifetime Achievement Award. He is also a seven-time National Public Technology Institute Solutions Award winner.  He is a Certified Chief Information Security Officer (C|CISO) and Certified Government Chief Information Officer (CGCIO).   

Jason currently co-hosts the Business Security Weekly podcast, is a Cybersecurity columnist for Providence Business News and is a Member FBI InfraGard.  He has served on Congressman Langevin’s (Congressional Cybersecurity Caucus co-chair) Cybersecurity Advisory Committee, the Tech Collective Board of Directors, Computer Science for RI (CS4RI) Advisory Board Member, RI Technology Workforce Advisory Committee and the Rhode Island Joint Cyber Task Force.

He expertly leads gap analysis and remediation efforts. He also works to meet and maintain regulatory and compliance requirements.

As a certified EC-Council Instructor, he has created and led innovative training courses designed to help educate the next generation of IT Security talent. Because of his commitment to education and technological innovation, he was recognized as a TECH 10 award winner in 2020.

Daniel Howard, Systems Engineer, Service Provider MSSP

Daniel Howard is an MSSP Solutions Engineer at Fortinet, where he partners with Service Providers and Managed Security Service Providers to design and productize managed security services at a scale. With over a decade in cybersecurity across carrier, MSSP, and vendor environments, Daniel holds both the CISSP and Fortinet's NSE8 certification (#3255), placing him among fewer than a few hundred engineers worldwide to earn Fortinet's most rigorous credential. 

He is the author of the Introduction to FortiGate NSE4 Study Guide series, a widely used reference in the Fortinet certification community. His current work centers on Universal SASE service creation, AI-driven security operations, and helping partners build profitable managed services in an increasingly complex threat landscape.

Daniel is based in North Carolina, where he lives with his wife and four children.

Linn is chair of our firm’s Data Privacy + Cybersecurity practice and co-chair of the Artificial Intelligence Team. She focuses on compliance with state and federal data privacy and security laws and regulations, emergency data breach response, mitigation and complex litigation. She counsels clients on state and federal investigations and enforcement actions. She has a particular focus on health information technology and has assisted clients with navigating laws governing the access, use and disclosure of protected health information and substance use disorder information and HIPAA compliance.
