Envision Continues to Innovate & Grow with 3 Internal Promotions

Envision Technology Advisors is proud to announce three recent promotions as part of the organization’s dedication to continual innovation and growth. Envision continues to focus on training, working with their people to elevate the company’s processes and solutions as part of a continual dedication to creating an Agile and Modern Workplace for Envision and their clients.

Wilkin Sanchez – Ground Control Security Associate

Previously, Sanchez worked as a Ground Control Support Specialist within Envision’s Managed Services division. For the past 12 months, Wilkin has dedicated himself to studying and training in cybersecurity, earning multiple security certifications, participating in hackathons and “Capture the Flag” cybersecurity competitions, attending conferences, and growing his professional network on platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, and Reddit.

In this new role, Sanchez will be working within Envision’s Managed Services team to develop services directly related to cybersecurity and protection of client environments. He will also be responsible for managing various service lines, wireless network services, and telephony services for Envision’s Ground Control clients.

“I’m excited to have a more direct, proactive, and impactful role in helping our clients become more secure,” Sanchez remarked. “I’m also looking forward to growing my cybersecurity knowledge and experience through various vendor security certifications.”

Ryan Fairfield – Ground Control Platform Specialist

Previously, Fairfield worked as a Ground Control Support Specialist within Envision’s Managed Services division. Recently, Fairfield graduated from CCRI with his associate degree in Computer Science. While working towards his degree, he has the opportunity to take multiple courses in various programming languages, such as Python, Java, and C++.

In this new role, Fairfield will be working heavily in the backend of Envision’s Ground Control platform, helping to deploy and optimize delivery of services. Specifically, Fairfield is interested in working in-depth with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, & Power Virtual Agents).

“I’m looking forward to working more with Microsoft’s Power Platform to not only help Envision optimize and create better workflows, but also to help our clients find better ways to work and save time through automation,” Fairfield commented.

With his associate degree complete, Fairfield is now continuing his education by pursing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at Rhode Island College.

Michael Williams – Senior Engagement Engineer

Previously, Williams worked as a Senior Technical Account Consultant within Envision’s Sales Engineering team. Williams has several years of experience working in an engagement engineer role, specifically as it related to building out and deploying Managed Services solutions.

In this new role, Williams will be focusing on refining the engagement process for Envision’s clients, encouraging and managing technical certifications within the company, improving Envision’s quoting template process, and perhaps most importantly, assisting management in developing new service lines.

“In the short term, I’m excited to jump into redefining how we conduct our strategic business reviews with our clients – our goal is to put our customers first and provide the best service possible,” stated Williams. “With regards to longer-term objectives, I look forward to continuing to develop Envision’s Modern Workplace initiatives with the help of Microsoft's ecosystem of innovative tools and technologies."

Todd Knapp, Envision’s Founder and CEO, commented on the recent staff elevations: “I’m very proud of not only these three individuals, but of our team as whole. This year has been full of unique obstacles that we’ve never encountered before, but through it all, our team takes it in stride and continues to thrive, both personally and on an organizational level.
