I have been at Envision since:
October 2012
Hobbies, activities, or interests:
I love to spend my free time outside. Mountain biking, hiking, camping, sailing, and just exploring my environment around me and how it all works together. As a former professional chef one of my great passions in life is food and wine. Entertaining guests in my home just comes natural to me after 15 years in the hospitality business. I’m also a tinkerer, I've made my own furniture, restored classic cars, and sculpted art from reclaimed metal items for a few years now. My personal life is made complete by my deep interest in music. I try to catch at least one live show per week and write one song per month using my trusty Martin guitar.
Interesting story or fact about me:
In my former life as a chef I had the opportunity to meet and cook for many celebrities and personal heroes. One time in particular I was asked to assist in a catered event for a local Congressman where there would be many celebrities and one guest of honor. I met Kevin Costner, Danny DeVito, and Harry Connick Jr. among others, but the guest of honor was never revealed until later when the area was swept by very serious man in black suits. The guest of honor turned out to be then President Bill Clinton. I can honestly say that I have prepared a meal fit for a king.
